I was delighted to be a judge for the Chartered Institute of Public Relations Excellence Awards. The awards, which have been established for 30 years, recognise the outstanding achievements of individuals, in-house teams and agencies from across all sectors of the public relations profession.
I had the honour of chairing face-to-face interviews with finalists in one of the 29 award categories. Unfortunately, I am not able to reveal which category I was judging, but I will be writing another post about the awards once the winners have been announced.
From a personal perspective, taking part in the judging process provided a great opportunity to learn more about the work being undertaken by other public relations professionals in their efforts to achieve excellence for their clients.
